She refused to elaborate on why she refused to serve him. He did not join the queue for 45-minutes to be handled like this. But because of this, he was almost surely not used to being talked back to or being looked at like this – no one should ever be. She didn’t seem to have any clue as to who he really was or what power he had at his fingertips; it was self-evident indeed. So he can’t wait to see her face when she finds out.

A Much Needed Day Off
For Karl Baker, it was a day off from work that had been deemed necessary. Having worked many 12-hour shifts, he was quite prepared to take a break and relax. He’d already arranged his day out. He was about to sleep in, eat out, explore the city, and wrap up the day lounging in front of the TV with just a drink in his hand. However, things are not what was originally planned.
